Ask Source Now Keeps Your Preferences on File

Ask Source now remembers your preferences and shows you exactly what it knows.

What's new

Ask Source has a new settings page for standing instructions. Tell it once, in your own words, how you want it to answer, plus a full, visible list of the facts it has picked up about you and your operation from your conversations.

Why it matters

You no longer have to repeat context every time you ask a question. Ask Source keeps track of your preferences and what you've told it, so answers arrive already shaped the way you want, and you stay in control of exactly what it remembers.

How it works

Open the gear icon above your Ask Source conversation history to reach two panels. "Custom instructions" is a free-text box for standing directions you want followed in every conversation, briefing, and report. "Remembered about you" lists everything the assistant has picked up on its own, with each entry showing where it came from and when. Delete a single entry, clear the whole list, or turn memory off entirely, all directly on the page. To add or correct something in the moment, just say so in a chat, for example, "remember that greenhouse 4 is the new build", and Ask Source confirms it there, with a link back to the settings page.
