Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar techniques

Source.ag uses cookies. We do this in order to analyze our website Source.ag and have it function optimally, to improve our services and to show relevant advertisements on other websites. Cookies are small text files that are temporarily stored on the hard disk or in the memory of your PC, tablet or cell phone, when you visit a (sub) website. The advantage of this is that you do not have to enter the same data every time. Would you like to change your cookie settings? You can easily do that yourself via the button below.

Cookie Settings

Below you can read what types of cookies may be placed by Source.ag and for what purposes these cookies are used. You can choose between the options 'Optimal' and 'Basic'. If you choose 'Basic', we only place anonymous analytical cookies. These are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and to perform (anonymous) measurements. If you choose 'Optimal', then - in addition to the anonymous analytical cookies - we also place cookies for personalization and advertisements. Want to read more about what data we collect and what we use it for? Read our Privacy Statement.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies ensure that the website works properly. For example, you do not have to repeatedly enter your login information. We also use functional cookies to detect abuse of our website and services, for example by registering a number of consecutive failed login attempts. We do not need to ask your permission for functional cookies. Functional cookies are placed on Source.ag to, among other things:

  • Showing or not showing the cookie notification.

  • Enable logging into the online portal through the website.

  • Remember the settings of the page.

Anonymous analytical cookies

We measure visits to our website with analytical cookies. This allows us to determine which parts of our website are most interesting to our visitors. This also allows us to optimize the website. We use third-party software: Google Analytics. IP addresses are processed for these functional and analytical cookies. The resulting statistics and reports cannot be traced back to individuals.

Google Analytics

Personalization and Ads

Cookies may be used from other parties. With your permission, we would like to show you information on third-party websites that is of real use to you, such as relevant offers. Therefore, we try to assess what interests you and what does not. Based on the pages you visit on our website, you will see different information than other visitors. This is how we make our website more relevant to you.

LinkedIn Analytics

The LinkedIn Insight Tag collects data for recognizing companies and individuals visiting the website as a result of showing ads on LinkedIn. IP addresses are truncated or (when used to reach members on different devices) hashed, and members' direct IDs are deleted within seven days to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days. LinkedIn does not share the personal data with the website owner, it only provides reports (which do not identify you) about the website audience and advertising performance. This cookie is automatically deleted after 180 days.

YouTube

On Source.ag we display videos from YouTube. These videos are pieces of code (embeds) from YouTube itself and use cookies. These cookies also record the number of views on these videos. Source.ag has no influence on these cookies. You can read more about this in YouTube's privacy guidelines. This cookie is automatically deleted after 30 days.

Which websites does this cookie policy apply to

This cookie policy applies to Source.ag. If you accept all cookies, you can easily use our website, find what you are looking for faster, and the information displayed on our website - and on third-party websites - is relevant and tailored to your preferences.

How long do I consent to cookies

Source.ag records whether you have given permission for cookies to be set. After one year, you will be asked again if you accept our cookies. This also applies to cookies longer than 1 year.

Don't want cookies set at all

Don't want Source.ag to place cookies on your PC? Then adjust your browser settings so that you receive a warning before cookies are placed. You can also set your browser to reject all cookies or only the cookies of third parties. Finally, you can always choose to delete cookies that have already been placed. To do this, you must adjust the settings for each browser and PC separately.

Customize cookie settings

You can change the chosen cookie settings yourself at any time. If you reject cookies, unfortunately we cannot guarantee the full functionality of our website. Certain functions may no longer work, or you may not be able to view certain websites at all. You may also continue to receive the prompt to set cookies each time you visit. Moreover, refusing cookies does not mean that you will no longer see advertisements. The ads will just not be tailored to your interests and will be repeated more often. If you refuse cookies through the browser settings, you may be asked to accept cookies with every website visit.
