Every irrigation chart now shows sunrise, solar noon and sunset, and every sun-relative setting shows the clock time it lands on.

What's new

Every chart on the Irrigation Strategy page and in the Irrigation Simulator now shows dotted lines at sunrise, solar noon and sunset, each with a small sun icon and the exact time in the tooltip. In the Irrigation Simulator settings, sun-relative settings such as "Minutes before/after highest point of the sun (Solar noon)" show the clock time they land on today, for example "~ 12:40 today", and update live as you edit. The stacked charts share one time axis, with round tick times in the greenhouse's own time zone.

Why it matters

Growers time their strategy around the sun. Now you can read solar noon, and the time any "X hours after sunrise" setting lands on, straight from the chart and the setting. Events line up across charts, and times read the same as in the greenhouse.

How it works

-Open Irrigation Strategy, or open the Irrigation Simulator and select Simulate.

-Each chart shows three dotted lines per day, at sunrise, solar noon and sunset, in the same spot on every chart.

-Hover near a line to see the event and its time, for example "Solar noon 12:40 PM".

-Zoom with the slider below the chart. The markers stay in place and the time axis follows.

-In the Irrigation Simulator settings, find the clock time next to Start time after sunrise, Radiation sum start irrigation and Minutes before/after highest point of the sun (Solar noon). Change a value and the time updates straight away.
