EC feed and EC drain follow the water

EC feed and EC drain now reflect the water that actually flowed, so you can compare them with confidence.

What’s new

The daily EC feed and EC drain metrics on the KPIs page and the metric pages are now based on the water that passed each sensor. Only readings taken while water was flowing count towards the day’s value. Sensors that stop reporting new values drop out of the day instead of being averaged in, and cleaning flushes above 20 mS/cm stay out of the daily figure.

Why it matters

EC feed shows the EC of the water your crop received, and EC drain shows what drained out. Comparing the two for the same day now gives you a clear picture of what happened in the root zone.

How it works

-Open a cultivation and go to KPIs.

-Find the EC feed and EC drain tiles. If they are not there yet, add them with Add KPIs.

-Click the info icon on a tile to see how the value is calculated.

-Compare EC drain with EC feed for the same day.

Availability

Live on mobile and web for all cultivations with water and drain meters configured in workspace settings.
