Control Sets Your Sunset Drydown Target Automatically

Control now works out your sunset drydown target for you, and keeps it within a range that stays feasible all season.

What's new

In the Target section of your irrigation strategy settings, under "Stop time calculated based on", choose "Automated dry-down at sunset". Simulate, and the Dry-down at sunset (Control) slider shows the feasible range Control has computed for your cultivation, with the applied target highlighted. Pick the point in that range that suits your night, a little drier or a little wetter. The pick is a preference rather than a fixed percentage, so when the range shifts on later days, the applied target shifts with it.

Why it matters

The sunset target has to stay in step with the first-irrigation target, the season, and the lamp schedule. Control now keeps it current on its own, inside bounds that keep the morning's first irrigation reachable and night shots sloping down. If even the wettest achievable value would dry down too far, an open action asks you to extend the start of the night shot window.

Availability

For Irrigation Control cultivations running artificial light with a night shot window.
