Following a successful career at Priva, Alberto is joining Source.ag to help Mexican growers bridge the gap between traditional expertise and AI innovation. Many in the industry already know him from his time at CEICKOR, the 'Greenhouse University' of Mexico, where he mentored the next generation of growers and helped them navigate the complexities of protected horticulture. At Source.ag, he’ll continue that mission, standing next to partners to make AI-driven cultivation accessible, practical, and productive.

Alberto is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Tomas Geurts, General Manager of North America. “We prioritize bringing in people who truly understand the challenges growers face, and Alberto’s extensive background in the Mexican market speaks for itself. We look forward to seeing the impact his expertise and industry knowledge will have on our operations in the region."

With Mexico’s protected horticulture sector rapidly expanding, AI has become a critical tool for scaling production and ensuring consistent performance. Alberto will work directly with growers to implement data-driven strategies, leveraging Source.ag’s solutions to drive higher yields and more predictable crop outcomes.

"I’ve spent my career working closely with growers to help them navigate the complexities of greenhouse technology," said Alberto Carbajal.
